We drive up a steep forest road. Trees brush against the rear-view mirrors. A minute later we see Kasia, waving hello. We made it. A small settlement of houses, maybe from the 1970s. They are beautiful, though probably rigged up the makeshift way, out of anything that was available at that time. They fit the modern times perfectly, adapted to climate changes, self-sufficient and zero-emission, operating in summer only. Rubbish must be immediately put in the bags we came here with. In the evening, we sit at the table and talk about how institutions cannot manage the transparency of their structure. How the work of key employees is invisible. It is felt that the structures and hierarchies hitherto defining the status of a work of art have somehow eroded and got blurred recently. Even the artists themselves admit it, appreciating the role of producers and editors, but above all – their social partners, perceiving them as co-creators of works which will soon gain the status of ARTWORKS.
